Awardwinning author Tanya Michaels has been making up stories since she was a childnow that she writes for Harlequin, it's a nice change to get paid for those stories instead of in trouble! But Tanya's favorite part of writing is connecting with people who, like her, love books. A fan of most anything that can make her laugh, Tanya made her 2003 debut with the romantic comedy The Maid of Dishonor, which was nominated for numerous awards including Romantic Times BOOKclub's Reviewers' Choice and Romance Writers of America's RITA. Since then, she's sold over ten books to Harlequin and won the Booksellers' Best for her Temptation title Hers for the Weekend (also a RITA finalist). Now, in addition to romance, Tanya is writing women's fiction novels for NEXT, which gives her a chance to explore different areas of a woman's life, including marriage and motherhood.
